The Scrapbook

My Mother is an artist. Her artistry took many forms over the years but, late in life, Mama decided to get into scrapbooking. Mama’s scrapbooks were a work of art, creative, detailed, and beautiful. My Mam made scrapbooks for every event in her life - vacations with Me Father, pictures of the grandbabies, even postcards she and Daddy had collected from the places they had visited over the years.

The last time I was home for a visit, I got my camera out and took some photos of the Thrillcade scrapbook. The Thrillcade was the stunt show that Me Mother and Faterh toured with when they were newly married. Daddy did motorcycle stunts and tricks with cars, while Mama stood on top of the cars as they circled around the track at top speed.

I have stories to tell about the Thrillcade, but, today, the story comes from the hands of that scrapbooking queen, Juana Mosher.
